Your body is probably so used to what you are doing that it hasn't changed in months.  The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result - STOP THE INSANITY!

Our Classes

Metabolic:  At Transcend Fitness & Performance Center you won't see rows of cardio equipment, like you do at most gyms.  We use a much more effective (and a lot more fun) way to do cardio.  Our Metabolic group sessions are our version of cardio workout.  You will burn calories, get your metabolism revving, and get the cardiovascular benefits you are looking for.

In the research, interval cardio training has been shown to be the most effective for fat loss.  We've taken it up a notch and incorporated exercises in multiple planes of motion, using all kinds of equipment such as suspension trainers, kettle bells, battle ropes, sandbags, medicine balls, and more into our interval-style workout.  You'll have a blast and you'll burn fat!  Add a Metabolic group session 1-3 times a week.

Total Body Strength: Total Body Strength group sessions are structured to take the place of a full body strength workout.  These workouts are our #1 priority to burn calories and build lean muscle to boost your metabolism for the long term.  These group sessions are in sets of exercises for specific repetitions.  You'll use weights that are challenging for the set repetitions; everyone goes at your own pace, but each week you push yourself to lift a little more than you did the week before. 

If you're one of our Custom Members you will be doing your individualized strength program with a coach during your coaching session.  Total Body Strength group sessions are designed to give our Essentials Members the benefits of a full body strength program.  Workout with a coach during customized sessions or take Total Body Strength group sessions 1-3 times per week.




Core Strength (Coming Soon):  Your core muscles are probably the most important group of muscles in your body. They literally hold you up. Your core muscles are responsible for your posture, and they are the basis of your strength. Developing a strong, stable core will help you achieve any fitness goal. Your core fitness will form the foundation for building your strength, power, endurance and overall  fitness.


Core Strength is a quick, effective 30 minute workout that tightens and tones abs, glutes, shoulders, and hips while improving functional strength for balance, mobility and injury prevention.  This isn’t the standard exercise progression for the core with sit ups, and crunches.  Rather, this is training the core to work the way it was intended to work – to provide stabilization of the  trunk while simultaneously moving the extremities during functional activities.
